The details make the difference

Ask the estimate to state the selected height, mesh, finish, posts, rails and gate scope. If you are comparing proposals, compare those items rather than assuming every chain-link fence is equivalent. Include any required business specification or existing product information with the inquiry.
Changes in ground level, drainage paths and gaps beneath existing fencing are useful things to photograph. For pets, explain the animal’s size and behavior. The proposed enclosure should address the actual layout and intended use, including corners and gates, not only the straight runs.
If you want privacy screening or slats, mention that before the system is selected. They change the proposed fence scope and should not be assumed suitable for every existing installation. For repairs, show the fabric, supports and gates together so damaged mesh is not assessed without the parts supporting it.
A useful estimate starts here
The right comparison is the complete scope, not a one-size-fits-all price. These are the details to bring into your free estimate.
Define the selected mesh, finish and supporting system.
Include returns and enclosed areas, not only the longest line.
List walk gates and equipment or vehicle access separately.
Show damaged supports, old fence removal and site-access limitations.
That is enough to start. Tell us what you want to change and where you are building.

Make the first conversation count
Before we get started
Yes. Describe the area, the reason for the fence and any pet-containment needs.
Yes. Include the property location, approximate layout, gate needs and any specifications in your inquiry.
Send photos of the mesh, posts, rails and gates that need attention. We can discuss the repair scope and available options.
Include that preference when you request the estimate. Confirm the available coating, components and gate treatment in the proposal so the full installation has the intended specification and appearance.
Ask for it to be reviewed as part of the complete fence system, including the supports and site conditions. Do not assume that an existing fence is suitable for screening simply because screening can be attached to it.
Not necessarily. Send wide photos of the affected run and close-ups of the mesh, posts, rails and connections. The condition of the supporting components helps determine whether a focused repair is appropriate.
